When booking your stay at Hawk’s Nest, please be aware of the following information:
Guests staying in any of the Garvin Family cottages will check in with Perry “Grub” Garvin at his home, located next to Garvin’s Store. All other guests will check in at the store. Please do not check in any earlier that 2:00 PM, so we can have your cottage clean and ready for you. Please check out no later than 11:00 AM (if having a private clean it is a 10:00 AM check out), so we can ensure the same for the next guests.
We kindly ask that all cottages are left neat and ready for the next tenants at time of departure. Private cleans are available for a fee, and can be booked at the beginning of your stay. Tenants will be charged for unnecessary damage or mess to cottages at checkout. Hawk’s Nest Beach Cottages are rented on a weekly basis with check in/ check out on Saturdays. Occasionally, cottages can be rented for shorter periods throughout the off season.
While all cottages are equipped with televisions, quilts and pillows, please do not forget your linens, towels and beach gear! If you are traveling a great distance to HNB you can rent a linen package.
If you do happen to forget something, we have a small convenience/ gift shop located on the property. Click here to find out more information about Garvin’s Store.
Dogs are allowed at Hawk’s Nest, but we ask that you use common courtesy to other renters. Please keep your dog on a leash, and make sure to clean up after them, we all know they are not going to clean up after themselves!
If you are interested in bringing your own boat on your beach vacation, you are in luck as there are multiple boat launch areas within just a few short miles of Hawk’s Nest.
Two tennis courts, a basketball hoop and a horseshoe pit are available for guests use.
